Tyler J. Struble - Associate Lighting Designer/ Prop Master
Mr. Struble comes from a background in technical theatre. He graduated from Canandaigua Academy studying for four years with Gordon J. Estey and Matthew B. Rodgers. Tyler has been with Rochester City Ballet since 2006 serving in the RCB/ Canandaigua Academy apprenticeship program before becoming a member of the RCB production staff. He is company property master. His production positions vary by production serving as a stagehand, electrician, carpenter, assistant technical director, assistant stage manager and stage manager. Mr. Struble served as assistant scenic designer for The Blood Countess and Carmen. He is associate lighting designer for all RCB productions. His work has been seen at the Eastman, Auditorium and Callahan theatres in the Rochester area. He served as assistant technical director and assistant stage manager for sold out performances at the Schimmel Center Theatre in NYC for a week's residency with RCB. He is attending Nazareth College with a dual major in theatre management and psychology. He works in various production positions in the college theatre department, has served as master electrician, light and sound board operator, assistant stage manager and stage manager for college and visiting productions. Mr. Struble also works with the Rochester Broadway Theatre League. Tyler co-owns Estey Theatrical in Canandaigua, NY a lighting, scenic and production design/management company. The company specializes in complete lighting design and equipment rentals, scenery design and fabrication, event design, construction and management. Provides technical theatre consultation for new theatre venues and renovations and complete stage management services.
