The best costume I ever wore was: I can't pick I love them all! But I especially love my tutus from the NYIBC competition.
My dance strength is: I don't feel like I have a strength but I do love to practice balancing!
My favorite color is: pink!
My favorite food is: coffee, can that be considered a food?? haha I do love any and all breakfast too!
My favorite movie is: Singing in the Rain. I've watched it ever since I was a little girl and I think it was definitely was one of the many factors that got me dancing.
My favorite book is: There are a few books that I especially I love, but I am going to use my favorite funny book: Bridget Jones's Diary. I actually laughed out loud the entire time I was reading that book!
Favorite band or type of music: I love all kinds of music. Lately I've been really into Adele, she is an amazing artist.
I have a hobby and it is: Doing Makeup for people!
Favorite non-dance activity: Shopping!
If I didn't dance, I would be a: I'm not sure what I would be but in school of taking a lot of psychology courses which are extremely interesting so possibly some sort of therapist. I would love to be able to do something that helps other people in some way.

Ms. Catalana received her dance training from the Timothy M. Draper Center for Dance Education and joined the Rochester City Ballet dancing in Balanchine's Serenade, Ms. Leverett's How to Break a Heart, and as the Italian Ice in The Nutcracker. During her training, she regularly performed with RCB in their productions of Carmen, Bravo! Colorado, Firebird, Peter and the Wolf, Cinderella and as one of the Three Peasant Girls, a noble woman and a Ghost in Jamey Leverett's The Blood Countess. In the spring of 2009, Ms. Catalana was chosen, along with RCB company member Brandon Alexander, as one of 24 couples worldwide to compete in the prestigious New York International Ballet Competition. Ms. Catalana attended the Houston Ballet Ben Stevenson Academy summer intensive and has received scholarships to attend the Kirov Academy of Ballet, Orlando Ballet and BalletMet summer intensives. She was also the recipient of a scholarship to the University of Hartford's Hartt School for Ballet in Hartford, Connecticut. Ms. Catalana is currently enrolled part time at Monroe Community College.
